Arsenal have made their move. The London club have confirmed strong interest in Kang-in Lee, PSG’s versatile attacking midfielder who has earned Luis Enrique’s trust in Paris.
Mikel Arteta is keen to add the South Korean international to his squad, seeing him as a unique profile for the Premier League. The arrival of sporting director Andrea Berta has reignited Arsenal’s pursuit, according to PSG Inside Actus.
Arsenal offer : 22 millions. PSG wants double that
But PSG are not willing to sell on the cheap. Signed for around €22m, Lee still holds a solid market value, and Paris are demanding between €40m and €45m — a price tag that has cooled Arsenal’s enthusiasm.
The Gunners are considering a loan with an option to buy as a safer bet, but that falls well short of PSG’s expectations.
If Arsenal want to convince, they’ll need to dig deep. Otherwise, Kang-in Lee will remain very much part of Paris’ plans this season.
