Martin Zubimendi is on the verge of becoming an Arsenal player. Despite strong interest from Real Madrid, the Real Sociedad midfielder has chosen the Gunners — and he’s already in London to seal the move, according to The Athletic.
Arsenal will activate his €60 million release clause (£51m), with a long-term contract already agreed between both parties. Barring any last-minute surprises, the 25-year-old Spaniard will be Mikel Arteta’s first major signing of the summer.
