Arsenal are making serious moves this summer. After officially signing Martin Zubimendi for €65 million, the Gunners are now set to wrap up another marquee transfer: Viktor Gyökeres.
The Swedish striker from Sporting CP, who had a sensational season with 54 goals in 52 matches, has reportedly reached a full agreement with Arsenal on a five-year deal, according to The Athletic. He’s already informed his club that he won’t consider any other offers, fully focused on making the leap to the Premier League.
The transfer fee is expected to be around €80 million, making it one of the biggest deals of the summer. With Zubimendi locked in to bolster the midfield, Arsenal are now stacking firepower up front with Gyökeres.
