Hansi Flick is not leaving anytime soon. The FC Barcelona coach is set to extend his contract, bringing great news for the Blaugrana.
Freshly re-elected, Joan Laporta is making a strong statement. The FC Barcelona president dropped a bombshell this Tuesday: Hansi Flick’s contract extension is imminent.
A long-term commitment for Barcelona
Currently tied to the club until 2027, the German manager is expected to sign on for an additional season, extending his stay until 2028. “He has already agreed, he is very happy here,” Laporta confirmed on RAC 1.
Arriving in 2024, Flick is already establishing himself for the long term. Barça is securing its coach and clearly showing its ambitions: to build a solid project over time. The manager has managed to bring smiles back to the socios, and the journey will continue for at least two more seasons.
