Pep Guardiola hasn’t given up on Lucas Paquetá — but West Ham remains firm: their Brazilian playmaker is not for sale.
A move to Manchester won’t happen anytime soon. Despite another approach from Manchester City, the London club has once again shut the door on any talks for the 28-year-old midfielder, who has scored 3 goals in 8 games across all competitions this season.
Under contract until 2028, the former Lyon star is viewed as untouchable and vital to the balance of David Moyes’ squad. City have tried several times to lure him away, without success.
According to English reports, the Hammers would only start discussions for an offer above €70 million — a fee the Premier League champions have no intention of meeting this winter. Guardiola will have to wait… or adjust his plans.
