Benjamin Sesko has made his decision — he’s joining Manchester United! The Red Devils have pulled off a major move by securing the 22-year-old striker from RB Leipzig, beating out competition from Newcastle.
Despite Leipzig having reached an agreement with the Magpies for a deal worth €85 million (including bonuses), the Slovenian international made it clear he only wanted to join Manchester United.
According to David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano, a full agreement is already in place with the player for a contract running until June 2030. All that remains is for both clubs to finalise the transfer fee.
Following the signings of Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo, United are preparing to add yet another high-calibre attacking option to their squad this summer.
