Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang back at Marseille? It’s on the table — but far from done. Set to terminate his contract with Al-Qadsiah, the 36-year-old striker has indeed held talks with OM officials during a brief stop in Saint-Étienne earlier this week, according to L’Équipe.

Roberto De Zerbi is all for it. The OM coach, already a fan of Aubameyang’s profile last summer, would welcome his return — especially with the Champions League ahead. After netting 21 goals in 36 games in Saudi Arabia this season (following 30 goals for OM in 2023-24), the Gabonese forward has shown he’s still got it.

The interest is real, the plan is attractive — now it has to make sense economically. Stay tuned in the coming weeks.
