Paris Saint-Germain are working on several fronts to strengthen their defense this summer, and a new name has emerged: Yarek Gasiorowski, the 20-year-old centre-back from Valencia CF.
While Ilya Zabarnyi (Bournemouth) remains the top priority, negotiations with the English club are dragging on. As a result, the PSG board is considering alternative options.
Among the other names mentioned are Mario Gila (Lazio) and Diogo Leite (Union Berlin). But according to Marca, Gasiorowski is now firmly on PSG’s shortlist.
€12 million could seal the deal
Under contract until 2027, Gasiorowski has a release clause set at €60 million, but Valencia would be open to a transfer well below that figure — between €10 and €12 million is reportedly enough to start serious talks. A price tag that PSG could easily afford if they choose to move forward.
However, competition is heating up: Brighton, Sunderland, PSV Eindhoven, and especially Feyenoord are also in the race. The Dutch side have already had two offers rejected — €6M and €8M — with Valencia holding out for more.
PSG are monitoring the situation closely. A move could be made soon.
