Paris Saint-Germain’s summer clear-out is gathering pace. According to Voetbalzone-NL, Ajax Amsterdam are in advanced talks to sign Carlos Soler on loan with a mandatory purchase option.
The Dutch side are even ready to cover his full salary this season (around €4.8m), while the transfer fee is still being negotiated. Soler, after a tough year in Paris, is open to the move and sees the Eredivisie as a fresh challenge.
Renato Sanches not going to Greece after all
Meanwhile, another midfielder is packing his bags. As reported by A Bola, Renato Sanches is on the verge of joining Trabzonspor, despite earlier links to Panathinaikos.
The 28-year-old is set for a loan move with a €9m buy option, the Turkish club taking on 40% of his wages. Jorge Mendes’ involvement in the talks proved decisive.
Two exits that could ease PSG’s wage bill while giving Soler and Sanches a chance to revive their careers abroad.
