Paris Saint-Germain are still keeping Éli Junior Kroupi in their sights, but the deal is becoming seriously complicated. The young French striker is highly appreciated in Paris, as the club looks to strengthen its attack with young, promising profiles suited to Luis Enrique’s project.
The Parisian dream could quickly turn into a dead end. According to PSGInside-Actus, Éli Junior Kroupi remains attracted by PSG and would still make the capital club his priority. That is an important advantage for Paris, but not enough to unlock the operation.
Bournemouth’s Huge Asking Price Blocks PSG
The main problem comes from Bournemouth. The English club is proving extremely demanding and is reportedly asking for nearly €92 million to let its striker leave. A fee considered far too high by PSG’s directors, who are currently refusing to enter a bidding war.
As a result, negotiations are now at a standstill. PSG still like Kroupi’s profile, but the Parisian management do not want to overpay for a deal that has become far too heavy financially, while Tottenham and Crystal Palace are also monitoring the situation closely.
For Paris, patience has its limits. If no agreement is found quickly, PSG could decide to put Kroupi aside and accelerate on other attacking targets. The player wants Paris, Paris are following him, but Bournemouth are blocking everything. The deal is not completely dead yet, but at that price, Éli Junior Kroupi is clearly drifting away from PSG.
