Gianluigi Donnarumma’s future at Paris Saint-Germain is hanging by a thread. The Italian goalkeeper has reportedly rejected a contract extension offer from the club, which included a pay cut — something he’s not willing to accept.
Contract talks on hold? Donnarumma, who joined PSG in 2021 on a free transfer from AC Milan, is under contract until 2026. Despite ongoing talks between the club and his agent Enzo Raiola, negotiations have stalled.
According to reports, PSG’s latest offer — €7 million in base salary plus €3 million in bonuses — was flat-out rejected. Sources close to the player even described the offer as “insulting.”
Juventus waiting in the wings?
The key issue? Donnarumma currently earns €10 million per year, and he has no intention of accepting less. The situation has attracted interest across Europe. Juventus are reportedly monitoring developments closely, with other clubs also showing interest in the 25-year-old Italy international.
The pressure is building — and Donnarumma’s future in Paris could be decided in the coming weeks.
