Paris Saint-Germain could shake up the European transfer market with two major targets coming straight from Spain. According to several foreign media outlets, Luis Enrique is eager to reunite with two players he highly values: Ferran Torres and Rodri.
The first name has already been linked with PSG for several weeks. With the possible departures of Bradley Barcola and Kang-In Lee, the French champions are exploring several attacking options, and Ferran Torres continues to emerge as a serious candidate.
PSG’s Ambitious Spanish Transfer Plans
The FC Barcelona forward is coming off the best season of his career, having scored 21 goals. Versatile, capable of playing across the entire attacking line, and already well known to Luis Enrique, the Spanish international fits the profile PSG are looking for perfectly.
However, Barcelona have no intention of selling the player. According to reports from Catalonia, the club’s management are even working on a contract extension to secure his long-term future. Meanwhile, another Spanish name is generating excitement among PSG supporters. Rumors from Spain suggest that PSG are also leading the race to sign Rodri, widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world. The Manchester City star is reportedly said to have been convinced by Luis Enrique during recent discussions.
Neither Manchester City, Real Madrid nor Barcelona are currently believed to be favorites in the race, with PSG reportedly holding the advantage. That said, the information remains unconfirmed, as no major source in France, England or Spain has validated the reports so far. One thing is certain, however: if Luis Enrique were to bring both Ferran Torres and Rodri to Paris, PSG would send a powerful message to the rest of Europe.
