PSG is preparing for a heated winter. The goal: to make a huge impact in defense. The Parisian leaders want to act as quickly as possible.
The hierarchy within the central defense seems clear: Pacho, 24, alongside Marquinhos, 31. However, the Brazilian captain, who has been at the club for 13 seasons, is starting to see his future being prepared by Paris Saint Germain. Some recent shortcomings could signal the time for change.
Ousmane Diomande on PSG’s radar!
The Ligue 1 runner-up, competing with Real Madrid, is targeting the 22-year-old Ivorian international. According to A Bola and French journalist Loïc Jego, PSG is set to go on the offensive. Despite a month on the sidelines, Diomande has played 12 matches with Sporting Portugal this season. The young defender stands out for his composure and contributes to the second-best defense in the league, having conceded only 8 goals.
A massive offensive of 45 million!
PSG is reportedly ready to spend 45 million euros to acquire Diomande. However, Sporting is not willing to part with their jewel easily. Under contract until 2027, with a possible three-year extension, the defender has a release clause of 80 million. A figure that could deter more than one suitor.
The saga has begun. The succession of Marquinhos, a battle in the market, and an Ivorian jewel turning heads: this winter transfer window could be explosive in Paris.
