As expected, Leandro Paredes (31), has completed his long-awaited return to Boca Juniors this summer, leaving AS Roma in a €3.5 million deal.
The 2022 World Cup winner, who came through the ranks at Boca, signed a contract until December 2028. And for his homecoming, the Argentine midfielder received a stunning reception at La Bombonera — nearly 50,000 fans packed the iconic stadium to welcome him back.
A former PSG player and a key figure for Argentina, Paredes looked visibly moved as supporters chanted his name during his unveiling. Boca fans are clearly ready for his second chapter — and it’s off to a thunderous start.
