Linked with Paris Saint-Germain for several weeks, Ilya Zabarnyi (22, Bournemouth) is still waiting for movement. The Ukrainian centre-back is highly rated by Luis Enrique, but talks are currently on hold, according to Le Parisien.
Bournemouth is demanding €70 million excluding bonuses, a price PSG considers too high for now. However, the story isn’t over. The French club could reignite negotiations between June 27 and July 3, during the second registration window for the FIFA Club World Cup.
The idea: bring in reinforcements ahead of the Round of 16, when the competition truly heats up. The player himself is reportedly open to the move. For now, the file remains on standby… but ready to be reopened at the right moment.
