Just arrived, already extended. Carlo Ancelotti is set to extend his contract as head coach of the Brazilian national team until 2030. According to Marca, the Brazilian Football Confederation is currently finalizing a new agreement with the Italian coach, who was appointed only a few months ago after leaving Real Madrid.
The Mister is also doing business in Brazil. Already a multi-millionaire, Carlo Ancelotti will further fill his accounts. Initially contracted until the 2026 World Cup, Ancelotti signed an XXL contract, estimated at 10 million euros per year, with a bonus in case of a world title.
So far, the Italian has only managed friendly matches, without yet experiencing any official appointment with the Seleção.
Ancelotti to rebuild the Seleção
But the CBF wants to look far ahead. Very far. This extension is part of a clear intention to build a long-term project with the five-time world champions, beyond the 2026 World Cup hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Only a few administrative details remain to be settled before an official announcement. The clear message from Brazil: Ancelotti is already the man of the future.
