The goalkeeper battle is well and truly underway at Paris Saint-Germain. And some seemingly minor details are already starting to make a lot of noise behind the scenes.

After the XXL performance by Matvey Safonov against Flamengo in the Intercontinental Cup, where he was the absolute hero of PSG’s triumph, Lucas Chevalier remained strangely silent. No message, no like, no public congratulations for his direct rival.

A Silence That Speaks Volumes

On the other hand, the French goalkeeper did not hesitate to step out of his reserve to congratulate Renato Marin, who started against Fontenay in the Coupe de France. “Congratulations to my friend,” he posted on Instagram.
