Olympique Lyonnais are on the verge of pulling off a huge move in the winter transfer window. Brazilian forward Endrick is indeed set to join the Rhône club on a straight loan from Real Madrid until the end of the season.
Endrick to OL is a thunderbolt. According to L’Équipe, Lyon will pay around one million euros to cover part of the 19-year-old prodigy’s salary.
A major winter transfer for Lyon
The deal is wrapped up, with the signing expected within 48 hours. Almost invisible in Madrid this season, Endrick gave his approval several weeks ago.
Promised a starting role in Lyon, the Brazilian wants to relaunch his career six months before the World Cup and convince Carlo Ancelotti, now head coach of Brazil. His presence for the clash against Monaco remains uncertain, but one thing is clear: Lyon are making a strong statement and taking their attacking play to a new level.
