A big scare on Sunday night for FC Barcelona with the early exit of Jules Koundé. Injured during the match against Villarreal, the French defender immediately raised fears of the worst, with some media outlets suggesting a possible hamstring tear and a long spell on the sidelines.

Koundé can breathe again, and his Christmas holidays are not ruined: the verdict is in, and it is more fear than harm from his weekend injury. According to AS, it turns out to be nothing more than a simple strain of the biceps femoris, far from the serious injury that had been feared.
