Free since his dismissal from Southampton last November, Will Still could soon resurface… in Ligue 1. The former Reims and Lens coach sent a very clear message on RMC.
Ligue 1: Will Still is clearly opening the door to a return… but where? He is putting the feelers out. “Coming back to France? Yes, absolutely, I’m not closing the door to anything,” said the 33-year-old Belgian coach, while stressing that he is now waiting for the right project and the right people. There is no question of rushing: “I’m not in a hurry. I want to take the time to do things properly.”
A Potential Return to Ligue 1
Since leaving England, Will Still says he has taken a step back. “I traveled a bit, I also learned about myself. I want to choose the right club, the right project, but I don’t want to close the door to anything.”
As a reminder, this winter he had already turned down Nantes, who were looking for a successor to Luis Castro. Proof that Will Still is waiting for something solid… and that Ligue 1 is clearly still on his mind.
