Monaco want to bring Ben Seghir back. A player sold to Leverkusen last summer, he has struggled to establish himself in Germany.
AS Monaco are seriously considering bringing Eliesse Ben Seghir back on loan. Short on playing time, the young Moroccan international could return to the Principality to finally rack up minutes.
An ankle injury complicates the deal
According to Kicker, information confirmed by Sky Sport Germany, Bayer Leverkusen are open to this option and would not oppose a temporary move to allow the player to play more regularly. Talks are ongoing between the different parties.
But a major obstacle could change everything: Ben Seghir is currently suffering from an ankle injury. His return date remains unknown, and the case now depends directly on the length of his absence.
Monaco are interested, Leverkusen too, but the medical timing could well decide the outcome of this case.
