FC Nantes is in the middle of a storm. It all started with a fiery outburst from Waldemar Kita, who harshly criticized the season and dropped a bombshell by mentioning a “mole” within the club.
Nothing is going right in Nantes: alleged leaks, internal clashes, and looming departures have turned the Kita saga into a full-blown crisis. As the club heads straight toward Ligue 2, Kita publicly denounced the supposed insider, indirectly pointing fingers at Luis Castro’s staff and triggering serious internal tension.
Medical coordinator responds to accusations
Quickly, a name began circulating: Nicolas-Pierre Bernot, the club’s medical coordinator. He responded firmly by announcing that he would leave the club at the end of the season.
“The accusations made against me do not reflect the reality of what is happening at the club. I am deeply saddened and disappointed by these attacks on my integrity and being used as a scapegoat,” he said.
The result is yet another crisis for Nantes, marked by internal accusations, rising tensions, and a series of departures. Meanwhile, the club continues its downward spiral toward Ligue 2.
