Chaos continues to grow at Real Madrid. After a first altercation during training on Wednesday between Aurélien Tchouaméni and Federico Valverde, the situation completely exploded on Thursday at Valdebebas. This time, the Uruguayan midfielder reportedly ended up bloodied and hospitalized following another confrontation with his French teammate.
Real Madrid are now at the center of a massive storm. The dressing room is tearing itself apart. According to several Spanish media outlets, Valverde accused Tchouaméni of being the “mole” behind the leaks concerning their initial clash. Refusing to shake hands, repeated provocations, and heavy challenges in training only increased the tension before the final incident. According to L’Équipe, the French midfielder allegedly slapped and pushed Valverde, who lost balance, hit a table, and briefly lost consciousness. El Chiringuito claims the Uruguayan required three stitches at the hospital.
Real Madrid Facing a Major Internal Crisis
Faced with the scale of the scandal, Real Madrid opened disciplinary proceedings against both players. In a lengthy statement released later in the evening, Valverde attempted to calm the situation by denying any exchange of punches. He insisted he was injured after “accidentally hitting a table” and claimed that Tchouaméni “never struck him.”
But internally, several sources reportedly believe Valverde’s behavior deeply frustrated the Madrid dressing room. “The one who crossed the red line is Valverde,” Onda Cero reported. A member of the squad also told AS: “He really went too far… It’s extremely serious.” Similar reactions emerged from Cadena SER, where several teammates allegedly felt the Uruguayan had gone “way too far” with Tchouaméni.
Deeply affected by the situation, the French international reportedly remained silent after the incidents. On El Chiringuito, journalist José Luis Sanchez claimed that Tchouaméni, considered one of the calmest players in the dressing room, was “extremely affected” by the entire affair. The atmosphere at Real Madrid is now said to be explosive, and whoever becomes the club’s next manager will have a huge task restoring order inside a Casa Blanca in full crisis mode.
