Thomas Tuchel could already be preparing a massive surprise for the World Cup. According to The Athletic, the England manager is considering leaving out two attacking stars: Phil Foden and Cole Palmer.

The same applies to Palmer. Despite his incredible talent, the Chelsea F.C. star has reportedly struggled with inconsistency, something that is seriously worrying Tuchel ahead of the World Cup.

The German coach apparently wants to build a squad based on current form rather than reputation. Harry Maguire, who has already confirmed he will not be selected, would also be among the big absentees. Meanwhile, players such as Ivan Toney, Kobbie Mainoo, Tino Livramento and Noni Madueke are expected to benefit from this major shake-up within the Three Lions.
