Transfermarkt’s latest market-value rankings underline the strength of French football’s talent pool. Kylian Mbappé remains comfortably in first place, but the rise of Michael Olise, Désiré Doué and Rayan Cherki shows that a new generation is rapidly establishing itself among Europe’s most highly valued players.
Mbappé remains untouchable, but the hierarchy now combines established stars with young talents still developing. It also reflects changes in the transfer market, where potential, age and contract length are valued almost as highly as immediate performances.
Olise and Doué Lead France’s New Generation
Mbappé tops the ranking with an estimated value of €200 million, ahead of Michael Olise on €170 million and Désiré Doué on €120 million. Ousmane Dembélé and William Saliba are both valued at €100 million, while Rayan Cherki and Bradley Barcola follow on €90 million.
Hugo Ekitiké and Warren Zaïre-Emery are each estimated at €80 million, with Dayot Upamecano completing the top ten on €75 million. The strong presence of attacking and creative players highlights the evolution of French football, which was previously more closely associated with defenders and powerful midfielders.
