Among the profiles admired internally, Jürgen Klopp is reportedly leading the race. According to Defensa Central, the German coach is the club’s top target for next season. But is the house a real clue? Not really, since the property was actually purchased several years ago.
Klopp’s Spanish Villa Fuels Madrid Rumors
Jürgen Klopp bought a villa in Mallorca for around €4 million between 2022 and 2024, then extensively renovated it into what is described as a “family eco-paradise.” The highly modern, energy-efficient property is located about one hour by plane from Madrid, which has fueled speculation about a possible move to the Spanish capital. The German coach has often said that living in Spain was a dream, attracted by the climate and lifestyle.
Now serving as Red Bull’s director of football, Klopp is living a life away from the touchline, without the daily pressure of matches and press conferences. Settled on the island and a member of a private sports club, he is enjoying his free time.
However, Real Madrid are still believed to be working behind the scenes to convince him to return to coaching, even if the Arbeloa option remains the preferred choice for now.
