On Sunday evening (8:45 PM), PSG will travel to Lyon for the 12th round of Ligue 1… but without their supporters. The Rhône prefecture has decided: total travel ban for Parisian fans.
PSG will have to manage without their supporters on Sunday evening. Travel to Lyon is prohibited, and the match is classified as high risk! Reason? The match is rated level 5 out of 5, the maximum danger level by the DNLH.
The decree points to “violent behaviors” already observed during PSG’s travels and a strong antagonism with Lyon supporters, particularly since the 2024 Coupe de France final which escalated.
No PSG in the stands
As a result: critical risk of clashes, enhanced security measures, and “exceptional measures” planned around the Groupama Stadium.
On the field, Paris will have to cope without several key injured players… and without the visiting atmosphere to help them bounce back after the defeat against Bayern.
The OL–PSG clash promises to be electric, but the away section will remain closed.
