Ahead of another showdown against AS Monaco, the Paris Saint-Germain coach has decided to grant his players two full days of rest on Monday and Tuesday. A strong signal during a packed schedule: recovery comes first before tackling Matchday 25 of Ligue 1.
Luis Enrique is easing off the intensity. Two complete days off for the PSG squad. The team will only return to training on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at the PSG Campus for a closed-door session. On Thursday, only the first 15 minutes will be open to the media, before Luis Enrique’s press conference at 1:00 p.m.
PSG Managing Fatigue Ahead of Monaco Clash
Friday will see Paris Saint-Germain host AS Monaco at the Parc des Princes (8:45 p.m.). It will already be the third meeting between the two sides in two weeks, highlighting a congested fixture list that the coaching staff is trying to handle wisely.
After the match, a press conference and mixed zone are scheduled, followed by another closed-door training session on Saturday morning. On Sunday, the Parisians will once again benefit from a day of rest. Physical management, mental freshness, and squad rotation: Luis Enrique is betting on balance to keep his group under pressure—but not under fatigue.
