Now operating on a whole new level, Ousmane Dembélé is approaching his career with a completely different status. Crowned Ballon d’Or 2025 after an exceptional season, the Paris Saint-Germain forward has become one of the leading faces of the France national team.
With 58 caps and 7 goals to his name, Ousmane Dembélé fully embraces the expectations that come with his role. Rather than feeling pressure, he says he has reached a major milestone, both on and off the pitch.
A New Level of Maturity and Consistency
“I have much more experience, and the level I’ve reached since last season is far better. A lot has changed in football and in my personal life. Everything is positive—I’m much calmer and more thoughtful. I hope to maintain this level. (…) I’m clearly in the best period of my career,” the French international said in an interview with Fox Deportes.
This balance is evident in his performances, allowing him to deliver consistently at a high level. However, despite clear progress, not everything is perfect yet for the Paris forward. To reach another level, he still needs greater consistency from match to match.
A major challenge for Dembélé, who has often been slowed by injuries in the past, but now appears better equipped than ever to establish himself permanently at the highest level.
