On October 9, L’Équipe revealed the existence of a difficult atmosphere within the PSG training center. Several employees are reportedly facing deep discomfort, with some even having taken sick leave in recent months. This information led to the involvement of the labor inspection, which visited the PSG Campus at the end of October.
According to the sports daily, the inspector present on site noted concerning elements: excessive workload, fragile internal organization, and managerial issues.
Meanwhile, the club’s Social and Economic Committee (CSE) has launched its own internal investigation. Employees from the training and pre-training sections have already been heard, while others are expected to be interviewed in the coming days.
“PSG is particularly attentive to the mental and physical health”
The goal of the investigations conducted by the labor inspection and the CSE is to verify reports of harassment and discomfort mentioned by several employees. Both bodies are seeking to determine whether the reported dysfunctions are valid and to what extent they affect the staff.
In response to these revelations, PSG reacted by stating that it is supporting the process: “The club ensures that the CSE investigation is conducted under good conditions and with respect for all parties. As the investigation is ongoing, we cannot comment further. The club is particularly attentive to the mental and physical health and well-being of its employees,” the management stated, reminding that prevention actions have been carried out for several seasons.
This matter is now proceeding, as attention turns to the conclusions of the investigations.
