Is Kylian Mbappé already no longer untouchable? The player seems to have been involved in controversy after controversy since the start of the season. In recent weeks, several incidents have further damaged his image: his trip to Italy with Ester Expósito, his laughter after an altercation at Valdebebas, and even an Instagram post published during a Real Madrid defeat were all badly received in Madrid.
Real Madrid Fans Turn Against Mbappé
In the Spanish media, the criticism is becoming increasingly harsh. Journalist Tomás Roncero said on AS: “Without Mbappé, we would be champions of Spain and Europe.” Even his longtime supporter Josep Pedrerol has changed his stance: “This version of Mbappé, I would sell tomorrow.”
On El Chiringuito, Jorge D’Alessandro went even further: “I sell Mbappé and buy Erling Haaland.” Internally, Real Madrid are now reportedly placing more trust in Vinícius Júnior as the future leader of the dressing room. According to several Spanish outlets, some members of the club would even prefer to see Mbappé leave if coexistence with Vini became impossible. For now, Florentino Pérez refuses to consider a sale and still wants to build around the Mbappé-Vini-Bellingham trio.
