After PSG’s emphatic 5–0 win over Marseille, Luis Enrique was once again questioned about his future. Under contract with the club until 2027, the Spanish coach has been the subject of rumors linking him with several European giants, particularly in Spain. Speaking at the press conference, he chose a playful tone rather than fueling the speculation.
With a slight smile, he dismissed the talk of a possible departure: “Spaniards always hit a sensitive nerve,” he said, before stressing how comfortable he feels in his current role and adding a clear “very happy in Paris,” followed by “This is Paris.” The message was simple: he sees himself continuing with PSG.
PSG Working on a Long-Term Extension
At the same time, the club is already working on a contract extension. The plan is to commit to him for the long run with a new deal that could run through 2030 in order to stabilize the sporting project.
According to L’Équipe, discussions are progressing calmly, with growing confidence internally about reaching an agreement.
