At 27, Kylian Mbappé had been racing full speed between Real Madrid, the French national team, his business ventures and various commitments… but without a driver’s license. That is now a thing of the past: the French star has officially obtained his license in Madrid.
Valid in France as well as across the entire European Union, this Spanish license does not need to be exchanged, except in specific cases such as loss, theft, expiration or a traffic offense. Just a minor administrative detail for a player used to handling major matters.
Mbappé Gains Independence in Madrid
His mother, Fayza Lamari, had encouraged him to take the step in order to gain more independence and enjoy moments alone, without a driver or security detail. Mission accomplished: Mbappé was recently spotted behind the wheel of a black car in the Spanish capital, confirming that he had secured the coveted permit.
“Finally”: Kurzawa mocks Mbappé, his former PSG teammate. The event did not go unnoticed by Layvin Kurzawa, who has just joined Persib Bandung. The former Parisian teammate playfully teased him on social media with an ironic “Finally,” accompanied by mocking emojis.
A friendly joke between two players who have remained close since their time at Paris Saint-Germain.
