No more playing with his knee: Kylian Mbappé has decided not to play another minute until he is 100% recovered from his injury.

He wanted to help Xabi Alonso, but that’s over. Suffering from a left knee injury at the end of December, Kylian Mbappé took an unnecessary risk by playing the last 15 minutes of the Supercopa de España final against FC Barcelona (2-3). This time, the message is clear: no more forcing it.

Maximum caution

Mbappé no longer wants to play with his health. There is no question of jeopardizing the end of the season and even less the 2026 World Cup: from now on, it’s maximum caution.
