The ordeal may finally be coming to an end. After months of waiting, doubts, and setbacks, Paul Pogba is very close to returning to the pitch. For the first time this season, the 2018 World Champion could make his comeback… as early as Saturday against Rennes (7 PM) during the 13th round of Ligue 1.
Monaco took a gamble. It seems to be paying off: things are looking very promising for Paul Pogba’s grand return! Sébastien Pocognoli opened the door in a press conference: “If there are no issues during today’s training session, he could be in the squad.” A statement that changes everything…
“Pogba hasn’t lost his vision or his technique.”
The Monaco coach assures that Pogba is returning in good form: “We are pleased with his progress. He has his own trajectory, and we are trying to bring him to the highest level for the benefit of the team.” And most importantly: “He hasn’t lost his vision or his technique.”
Monaco is only waiting for one thing: to see Pioche back on the field. The grand return has never been so close.
