It is very bad news for PSG. After the thriller against Bayern (5-4), the Parisian club confirmed Achraf Hakimi’s injury… and it is a serious one.
Hit in the right thigh, the Moroccan international has suffered a muscle injury and will remain in treatment for several weeks. His absence for the second leg in Munich is almost certain, a huge blow for Luis Enrique.
Hakimi Sidelined, Mendes Expected to Return
By contrast, PSG can breathe a sigh of relief over Nuno Mendes. Taken off late in the match, the Portuguese full-back is not suffering from a serious issue and should be available for the return leg.
It is a stark contrast for Paris, who lose a key player at the worst possible time but keep a solid option on the left side.
