Jürgen Klopp to Real Madrid? The idea is clearly fading. Often mentioned as a natural candidate, the German coach is now following a very different path, balancing his strategic role at Red Bull with a clear desire to slow down after years of high-pressure management.
Jürgen Klopp will ultimately not be the choice. Real Madrid is considering other options such as Deschamps, Mourinho, or Pochettino—but not Klopp.
Real Madrid looks elsewhere for its next manager
As is often the case, the link with the Madrid club seems more like speculation than a concrete lead. According to AS, his name was never part of internal discussions to appoint a successor, proving that no real contact exists. This decision also reflects Real Madrid’s structure, heavily centralized around Florentino Pérez, which contrasts with Klopp’s preference for full control over sporting projects.
Timing also works against this option. Since leaving Liverpool in 2024, Klopp has clearly expressed his need for a break. His role at Red Bull allows him to remain influential without facing the daily pressure of club management.
In the longer term, another path appears more credible: managing the German national team. With Julian Nagelsmann currently in place, there is no immediate urgency, but this scenario aligns more closely with Klopp’s ambitions. In this context, the Real Madrid link looks like just another rumor—one that keeps resurfacing without ever becoming reality.
