The decision has been made: PSG-Nantes has officially been postponed. The LFP announced this Saturday that the Ligue 1 fixture, initially scheduled for the weekend of March 15, will now be played during the week of April 20. PSG will benefit from some additional rest to better prepare for the Champions League Round of 16.
PSG-Nantes is therefore officially postponed. Details regarding the exact date and kick-off time will be confirmed soon. The postponement comes at the request of the Parisian club, which wanted to optimize its preparation ahead of its Champions League Round of 16 clash against Chelsea. After approval by the League’s Board of Directors and agreement from FC Nantes, the calendar change was validated.
PSG’s Schedule Adjusted Around Key Champions League Clashes with Chelsea
PSG will host Chelsea on March 11 at 9:00 p.m. at the Parc des Princes before traveling to Stamford Bridge on March 18, also at 9:00 p.m. The Ligue 1 match against Nantes was originally scheduled between these two European encounters.
Placed between the two high-stakes fixtures against Chelsea, the match against Nantes has therefore been rescheduled. This adjustment will allow the Parisians to approach this decisive period with greater calm and focus as they aim to advance in Europe.
