Out of contract next June, Paulo Dybala is not expected to continue his journey with AS Roma. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the issue of an extension is not currently on the agenda in the Italian capital for the 32-year-old Argentine forward.
Used less and less in recent weeks, Dybala appears to have lost his place in Roma’s hierarchy. With one goal in 10 Serie A appearances this season, the former Argentine international is now heading toward a free departure at the end of the campaign.
An uncertain future in the Italian capital
Having joined Roma in the summer of 2022 after the end of his contract with Juventus, Dybala quickly regained a central role. In his first season, he was one of the key figures behind Roma’s triumph in the UEFA Europa Conference League, establishing himself as the team’s attacking leader.
Trained at Instituto Córdoba and revealed in Europe with Palermo, Paulo Dybala then established himself as one of Juventus’ standout players between 2015 and 2022, notably winning five Serie A titles. As the summer transfer window approaches, his future now remains wide open.
