Tottenham are coming off a more than disappointing season, but the Spurs have clearly decided to make a huge statement in the transfer market. Even though it is only the beginning of July, the London club has already completed several major signings and is building a particularly ambitious transfer window.

The headline deal is Sandro Tonali. The Italian midfielder leaves Newcastle to join Tottenham in a deal estimated at around €116 million. A blockbuster transfer that confirms Spurs’ big ambitions to completely relaunch their sporting project. According to Reuters, the deal could reach £100 million, including a fixed fee and bonuses.

At the same time, Jean Paul Van Hecke also arrived to strengthen the defense in a deal estimated at €60 million. A significant investment that shows Tottenham are not just adding names, but reinforcing several key areas of the squad.

The London club has also taken advantage of the free agent market to add depth to the squad. Marco Senesi, Andrew Robertson and Martin Dubravka joined on free transfers, allowing Spurs to bring in experience without paying transfer fees. With Tonali, Fernandes, Van Hecke and these free signings already in place, Tottenham are clearly determined to turn the page after a failed season and build a squad capable of achieving much more. And the most impressive part is that it is only July 6 — more surprises could still be on the way.
