The Reds’ busy transfer window continues! Giovanni Leoni has officially signed with Liverpool.
The 18-year-old Italian centre-back has just 17 Serie A appearances to his name but has already convinced the Premier League giants. He joins from Parma in a €35m (£30m) deal and will wear the No.15 shirt at Anfield.
“I want to improve a lot with my new teammates in training and after on the pitch, in the Premier League and the Champions League,” said Leoni. “I’ll watch the game [against AFC Bournemouth at Anfield tonight] in the stadium, see the game and then after the game it’s a new journey.”
