Despite an impressive Champions League run that ended in the semi-finals against PSG, Arsenal closes out another season without silverware. Since the FA Cup win in 2020 and the last Premier League title in 2004, the Gunners have been chasing a major trophy — and the club is determined to change that next season.
With the arrival of Andrea Berta, former sporting director of Atlético Madrid, Arsenal is launching an ambitious overhaul. The goal is simple: turn a promising squad into a title-winning machine. A high-profile transfer window is on the horizon.
Isak, Sesko, Gyokeres…
According to Sky Sports, midfield reinforcements are a top priority, with Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad) targeted to partner Odegaard and Rice. In attack, Nico Williams (Athletic Club) is also being pursued to strengthen the wings — potentially joining alongside another Basque teammate.
Up front, three names are being considered: Alexander Isak (Newcastle), Benjamin Sesko (Leipzig), and Viktor Gyökeres (Sporting). While prying Isak away may prove difficult, Sesko and Gyökeres are viewed as more realistic options.
The message is clear: Arsenal is ready to spend big — and win big.
