Paris Saint-Germain have made the signing of Dro Fernández official. The 18-year-old Spanish midfielder has committed to the capital club until 2030 and will wear the number 27. A great move for Paris, who continue to invest in young talents with very high potential.
Dro to PSG, it’s official! Born in Nigrán, Spain, Dro was trained at FC Barcelona after starting football at his local club. He joined La Masia in 2022 and quickly made a name for himself thanks to his technique, his vision of the game, and his ability to link play between the lines.
The rise of a Spanish prodigy
During the 2024–2025 season, he broke out with Barça’s U19s and won the UEFA Youth League. In seven matches, he scored two goals and played an important role in the European triumph, while also winning the youth league and the Spanish Youth Cup.
His strong performances quickly opened the doors to the first team. In the summer of 2025, he scored against Vissel Kobe in a friendly, then made his official debut a few weeks later. He made five appearances for Barça, including one in the Champions League, where he even provided an assist against Olympiakos.
An international at youth level, Dro is also a key figure in Spain’s youth teams. He has 24 caps across all age groups and arrives in Paris with a big reputation as a future star. It is now up to PSG to turn that promise into reality.
