Jonathan David’s future could be written far from Juventus Turin this summer. The Canadian striker is already attracting several suitors, particularly in Ligue 1.
Things are not going as planned for Jonathan David. The Canadian has struggled to establish himself at Juve and could therefore return to Ligue 1 as early as next summer. According to Tuttosport, Olympique de Marseille are interested in the former LOSC striker. The Marseille club could consider making a move if they qualify for the next Champions League. The good relationship between Marseille and Turin executives could help facilitate potential negotiations.
OM and Lyon competing for Jonathan David
However, OM are not alone in the race. Jonathan David, who has scored five goals in 28 Serie A matches this season, is also attracting interest from Olympique Lyonnais, even if the Rhone club’s financial room for maneuver remains limited.
But competition could also come from England. The Canadian international is said to be particularly attracted by the Premier League, a championship that continues to appeal strongly to the former Lille player.
