Could Luca Zidane be on his way to Ligue 1? According to L’Équipe, Paris FC are interested in signing the 27-year-old goalkeeper, currently playing for Granada in Spain’s second division. He’s being considered as a potential backup for current No. 1 Obed Nkambadio.
The son of Zinedine Zidane, Luca is under contract until 2027 and has a release clause of around €2 million. Back in March, he hinted at a move to France:
“I had offers—as a number two—from Montpellier and Lens. But now at 26, it’s a key moment in my career. I’ve played nearly 150 matches in Spain’s second tier and had top-flight experience with Rayo and Real Madrid.”
He added: “Maybe it’s time for a new choice. I want to settle and perform in Ligue 1. Whether it’s me, Théo, or Elyaz—we’re all ambitious. France is definitely an option. It’s our country, even if our football culture is more Spanish.”
Paris FC could be the club to offer him that next step.
