Talks between Gianluigi Donnarumma and Paris Saint-Germain are ongoing—but so far, no agreement has been reached over a contract extension.
Donnarumma, under contract until 2026, has been offered a new deal with a lower base salary, offset by performance-based bonuses. PSG are looking to reduce their wage bill, but the Italian goalkeeper wants a pay raise after a solid season. For now, the negotiations are at a standstill.
Galatasaray make a move
According to Italian media, Galatasaray have made contact with Donnarumma’s entourage. The Turkish giants are keen to strengthen their squad and hope to take advantage of the uncertainty surrounding his contract situation.
Diogo Costa as plan B
Meanwhile, PSG are closely monitoring Diogo Costa, the FC Porto goalkeeper. He’s high on their shortlist should Donnarumma leave. However, Manchester City and Chelsea are also interested, which could spark a bidding war.
