Randal Kolo Muani remains at the center of a tug-of-war between Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus. The French striker still wants to continue his adventure in Turin, but talks between the two clubs remain complicated. For now, Paris has no intention of making any concessions.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus are trying to move the deal forward quickly. The Italian club know that Kolo Muani wants to return to the Bianconeri, but that desire has not yet been enough to unlock the situation. PSG first and foremost want to protect their interests and secure a clear agreement.
PSG Want a Real Guarantee for Kolo Muani
The main sticking point concerns the structure of the transfer. PSG want a loan with a mandatory purchase option, in order to be certain of receiving a defined fee at the end of the season. That condition is considered essential by the Parisian hierarchy.
Juventus, meanwhile, are proposing a more cautious deal: a loan with a purchase option triggered only if they qualify for the Champions League. That solution does not reassure Paris, as the capital club does not want the sale of their player to depend on Juventus’ sporting results.
In this case, PSG are also refusing to lower their financial demands. Despite the player’s wishes, Paris do not want to find themselves in a weak position and intend to negotiate until the very end. A new meeting is scheduled this week between the Turin management and Kolo Muani’s representatives. Juventus are keeping several backup options open, with Alexander Sørloth and Jean-Philippe Mateta mentioned as alternatives, but Luciano Spalletti’s priority remains Randal Kolo Muani.
