Federico Valverde’s name has been making headlines in Spain over the last few hours. In the middle of Real Madrid’s crisis after a disastrous season, the Uruguayan midfielder has found himself at the center of several exit rumors… and PSG were quickly mentioned as a possible destination.

The crisis at Real Madrid is spreading across Europe and even reaching PSG. The atmosphere has become explosive in Madrid. A trophyless season, dressing room tensions, criticism surrounding Kylian Mbappé, fights between players… Real are going through an extremely difficult period.

In this context, Spanish TV show El Chiringuito launched a sensational rumor claiming that PSG had already contacted Federico Valverde’s entourage regarding a possible summer transfer. However, according to several sources close to the situation, the information is completely false. Paris Saint-Germain currently have no interest in the Real Madrid player and are not considering a move for that type of profile.

The Parisian club have also paused most of their transfer activities in order to remain fully focused on the Champions League final against Arsenal on May 30 in Budapest. Internally, PSG also believe they are already very well stocked in midfield, especially after the arrival of Dro Fernandez this winter.

Despite his immense talent, Federico Valverde is therefore not expected to join PSG this summer, and Real Madrid will likely need to find another solution if the Uruguayan truly wants to leave a club currently in turmoil.
