Michael Olise’s name continues to be heavily linked with Real Madrid. According to Spanish newspaper AS, the Bayern Munich attacking midfielder has emerged as Florentino Pérez’s top long-term target and is viewed as a key piece of the club’s future plans.
After an outstanding season with Bayern and an impressive start to the 2026 World Cup with France, Olise has only strengthened his reputation across Europe. His performances against Real Madrid in the Champions League had already caught the attention of the Spanish giants, and his rapid development has further convinced the club’s decision-makers.
Real Madrid’s Pursuit of Michael Olise
AS reports that Real Madrid have been monitoring Olise for many months and that several contacts have already taken place around Florentino Pérez’s presidential campaign. Within the club, the French international is reportedly seen as a future “Galáctico” capable of becoming one of the biggest stars in world football.
However, completing the deal will be far from easy. Bayern Munich have repeatedly insisted that their star player is not for sale. According to the Spanish outlet, though, the German club’s position could change if Olise clearly expresses a desire to move to Madrid. Any negotiations would reportedly start at no less than €200 million.
Paris Saint-Germain are also keeping a close eye on the situation. The French champions have long admired the England-trained playmaker and could enter the race should an opportunity arise. Despite the obstacles, Real Madrid are said to be prepared to invest heavily, convinced that Olise has the potential to become one of European football’s next global superstars.
