Real Madrid are still dreaming of signing Michael Olise. According to Marca, the Spanish giants are preparing a historic move to lure the French international away from Bayern Munich after the 2026 World Cup.
Will Michael Olise become Florentino Pérez’s next superstar signing? For months, speculation focused on Julian Alvarez after comments suggesting Real Madrid were willing to spend €150 million on a star playing for a Champions League club. However, many observers in Spain now believe the club’s true target is none other than Olise.
Olise Becomes Madrid’s Top Transfer Target
After an outstanding season with Bayern Munich, the French winger ticks every box for Real Madrid. His chemistry with Kylian Mbappé in the French national team, his natural role on the right wing, and his global marketing appeal have reportedly made him a priority for both Florentino Pérez and José Mourinho.
The biggest obstacle remains Bayern Munich. The German champions have no intention of negotiating a sale, with club president Herbert Hainer already making it clear that Bayern do not want to lose the player. To convince the Bavarian club, Real Madrid would reportedly be prepared to exceed €200 million, with an offer potentially reaching €220 million.
The Olise pursuit is also said to be separate from Real Madrid’s interest in Enzo Fernández. After already securing Marc Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konaté and potentially Denzel Dumfries, Madrid are eager to make another blockbuster signing. However, major sales may be required to balance the books, with Fede Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni among the players who could be sacrificed to fund the ambitious project.
